Smoking Hot Wedding in Smithfield, VA

Have you ever met someone and immediately connected with them like you’ve been friends for 20 years? That’s exactly how we feel about Paula. She literally is the sweetest, ever! ….and let’s not forget Larry. He is like a brother from another mother. Yes, I totally stole that from Michelle Jones’ post, but I couldn’t help myself. Larry is absolutely genuine and so sincere. Together they are a smoking hot couple from a Hallmark movie, but in real life. Everything was perfect, from the sunshine to the details on the guest favors. It was such a blessing to be a small part of their BIG day.

When we arrived at the Smithfield Station Paula and the girls, Callie and Marleigh were having their makeup done. Myiah was putting the finishing touches on their makeup. She definitely had it easy. All three of these ladies are gorgeous!!! Look at them…it’s a family of super models.

Let’s talk a bit more about their love story. Their paths have crossed over several times. After six years of friendship they had their first coffee date at Barnes & Nobles, and the fire was lit from then on. In Paula’s words, “we texted, we talked, we liked, we loved!” Larry proposed to Paula in Smithfield right on Main Street where the statue of the couple is sitting together on the bench. How sweet is that? Plus, the church they were married in was so cute, and up on a little hill. {Hallmark, I tell ya.}

Larry sounded like a kid in a candy shop when he called and told us that the Smithfield Volunteer Fire Department would be able to give them a lift from the church to the reception. Of course we weren’t going to pass up the opportunity to take a photo on Main Street, and almost right across from where Larry proposed. It was a memorable ride through downtown, everyone was smiling and waving, shouting congratulations to the newlyweds – Mr. and Mrs. Chappell!!

I think someone really should have called 9-1-1. These two were on FIRE in our camera lenses.

Even the groomsmen joined in the photo party, looking stylish and sharp!

Paula told us that she thinks Larry reminds her of Tom Cruise, if she squints her eyes. Guess that’s why his nickname is “stud”. Paula’s is “sweet lady”.

If anyone spends five minutes around them they will see how much they adore and cherish each other. The way they look at each other absolutely says it all.

Their dream is to build a home together on a big piece of land. Then grow old together on the front porch….another perfect Hallmark moment.

Their day was filled with love and laughter, and family and friends. And don’t forget the cake!….from Smithfield Bakery….YUMMY!

May your lifetime together be filled with memorable sunsets, like your wedding day, and endless amounts of love. May your dreams come true because of your faith and dedication to each other. May you always know each day you are together that you are loved!

xoxo

    Beautiful photos. Exactly the type of pictures I like to see from a wedding – all the little details photographed.
