WOW! Can we say it again? WOW!!! Kayla and Stephen’s wedding day exploded with a ton of laughter and cherished memories. March weather is always so unpredictable, but their day was absolutely perfect. The sun was shining and even the touch of cool air didn’t affect the amount of love generated for these two from their family and friends. Actually the cooler weather made the day even more special, snuggling up together for pictures is a great way to kick off the festive events. From the first time we met Kayla and Stephen we knew their details would be on gorgeous and thoughtful. Take a look at these.

Vintage spools of thread, rhinestone shoes, pearl ornaments from Kayla’s great grandmother as their ceremony backdrop, and pages from special books were placed on the tables. Each one accented their starry/celestial theme.

These two love birds meet in English class during their Sophomore year of high school. Their first date together was when Kayla picked Stephen up at the airport in San Antonio, TX….even though she said, he would say the Last Bison concert at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens, which he did. LOL While they both agree Stephen is the funniest and Kayla is the fashionable one, there is no doubt they were absolutely made for each other.

Time for the first look. We LOVE when couples agree to doing a first look. Their emotions are priceless, as you can see. You can feel the excitement and anticipation through these images.

The family and bridal party had a front row seat (and sneak peek through the window) during the first look. So it was time to pull everyone together and take a quick walk down to the waterfront before the ceremony and the sun set.

The guest have arrived and it’s time for the ceremony. The Historic Post Office was a perfect venue. We had to hold back the tears when both sets of parents spoke during the ceremony. It was an awesome tribute to their love and well wishes for their children.

It’s official….MR. & MRS. SEARS!!!! Congratulations.

Time to relax, have fun, and yep you guessed it…be a little bit silly. Plus dance, eat cake, toss the bouquet and garter, jump in the photo booth, and mingle with everyone!

As the night came to a close we, along with everyone surrounding them, wished Kayla and Stephen a life-time together filled with love and special memories. We hope that you continue to watch movies, enjoy Mexican or Italian cuisines, and always hold hands while walking together (per your photographers instructions)!! Congratulations again.
