We are still floating on cloud 9 from Joe & Emily’s wedding. From our first conference call together until the day of wedding we had that feeling that even the tiniest detail would be picture perfect…and oh my, did they deliver! We believe their love story could be a best selling novel. I mean Emily is a former Fair Queen and life-long fahsionista. Thanks to a dear friend she met Joe as a drummer (and he has a PhD). Umh hello, that’s so cool (and hot :)). Anyone who spends more than two minutes around them should be able to see the amount of love between them, because it is crystal clear. They are truly perfect for each other and so was their wedding day!
Mother nature provided a beautiful day, with popping clouds and cool temperatures. Rock Hill Farm was a perfect venue choice for Joe & Emily’s wedding. The landscape and views are breathtaking (and a photographer’s dream), and we have to mention they offer the spacious rooms for the bride and families to stay/get ready in. There is even a tiny groom’s cabin at the back of the farm. It is so rustic and quaint that it fits perfectly. Even Lola was welcomed and she made herself feel right at home.
We had so much fun photographing Emily and all of the ladies getting ready. There were so many memorable events, including the champaign that popped before anyone knew it was going to. And then came the dress, I mean the OH-LA-LA dress. Along with a first look filled with genuine smiles and a few tears, and Lola’s wedding collar. {Make sure you enlarge these images. Lola is literally winking at us…like she knows her parents are getting married and she is part of the big day too…priceless. 🙂
There was a light breeze in the air as the ceremony started. It was magical, absolutely perfect.
The ceremony is sealed with a kiss, another kiss, and one more kiss!
It’s official. Joe and Emily are married!!!!
There comes a time in every wedding where everyone is ready to relax, let their hair down, take their coats off, eat delicious food and celebrate with toast and cake. At this point we were there…lol! So the celebration moved on into the beautifully restored and rustic barn.
Even though every wedding day must come to an end, that’s not the ending to this fairy tale. The moments and memories from their wedding day will live through many generations to come. Joe and Emily chose to share all of the pictures with family and friends, so you can see the entire day, even behind the scenes. There are several hundreds of pictures (we are not kidding). Our wish for them is for a long life filled with happiness, as we KNOW they will live happily ever after!!! xoxoxo- Lee & Alexis
