Love stories can begin anywhere…including by luck (or coincidence) on Facebook. 🙂 Shaun and Kristi have such a unique story to share with their children; it’s a one in a million, a real life win-win. We were crazy excited to be a part of their wedding memories. Their colors were absolutely perfect for a September beach wedding at the Waterman’s Museum in Yorktown.
The first man a little girl loves is her daddy so it’s only fair that on her wedding day he gets to be the first person to see her in her wedding dress. Plus knowing her mommy had the best view watching every moment from heaven brought us to tears (of joy).
There is a nautical saying – Let love be your anchor and hope be your sail. Tons of emotions pour out and their expressions are priceless, so genuine and pure. Shaun is Kristi’s anchor and she is his sail.
Smiles kept getting bigger and BIGGER during their first look and exchanging of gifts…
Almost time to get barefoot on the beach and begin the ceremony.
What a beautiful and perfect day for a wedding. The weather was awesome, sun shining, boats sailing in the background. They were truly blessed! Surrounded by family and friends Shaun and Kristi exchanged vows, shared moments of laughter, and was joined at center stage by Kali.
It’s official…Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Bartron!!
We love creating memorable portraits with this family (second year in a row, whoop-whoop) for several reasons, but man do they know how to throw a reception party!!! Everyone is always happy and has fun. We have to give props for the groomsman speech… several prepared note cards and he was hilarious.
What beach wedding would be complete without golden hour, sunset photos? These were picture perfect and Kristi’s bridal portraits were stunning. She could be a model (and doesn’t even know it). Shaun was a handsome groom too!
The reception party really kicked up after sunset, and there are so many more images to share, but we hope you enjoyed the their sneak-peeks. Shaun and Kristi decided to share ALL of their memories from the entire day with family and friends. To see their galleries click on this link –

One final kiss for the blog! Our wish for Shaun and Kristi (and family) is they continue to build on the love they have. May your anchors only keep you grounded to each other, may your sails fill with winds of hope, and may your future always be looking towards the sunset for a fairy-tale forever!!! We love ya’ll muches. Hugs, ~Lee & Alexis
